Sterling silver is made with 92.5% pure silver (hence the 925 stamp) and 7.5% alloy (can be some combination of copper, nickel, zinc) for strength and durability. Sterling silver will tarnish over time and we recommend using a polishing cloth (available for purchase here) or a gentle jewelry cleaning solution. Sterling silver may also turn your fingers green (due to the copper alloy)— this is not a sign of low quality. Green fingers depend on the natural pH level of your skin, the products you use and how much you sweat. A great way to avoid green fingers is to paint the inside of your ring with clear nail polish!
